LangGraph

LangGraph is the low-level open-source framework and runtime from LangChain, Inc. for orchestrating long-running, stateful agents and workflows. Applications model shared state, nodes, and edges as graphs, combining deterministic code with model-driven decisions. Checkpointing and persistence allow runs to survive failures and resume, while interrupts support human review or state changes before execution continues. Python and JavaScript/TypeScript implementations provide graph and functional APIs. LangGraph can use LangChain models and tools, but does not require LangChain.
